“ I live a mile down the road from Lombard House. It is one of the most welcoming bars I have ever been to. Strong Philly sports culture. Brian the owner is a great dude and takes the time to get to know you. Great beer on tap and reasonable prices. All around great spot to kick it. ”
“ Lombard House is an actual house, with a backyard and due to Covid-19, you pretty much just have the backyard to go to. The space inside is very tiny and if you want any sort of food, the St. John's Beer Porch is right across the street. My reason for making my way up to NOPO was because there is a small group of a Philadelphia Eagles fan club (North Portland Bird Watchers Society) that watches games here. It helps that the owner is an Eagles fan as well. The bar has a small selection of beers on tap, but there were a couple of fresh hop brews when I visited. The backyard is actually larger than the inside and a few years back some folks planted different varieties of hops that have been used in ciders by Rev. Nat's. It's a nice neighborhood spot.
